EXTREME RAT SHOOTING with 1280 thermal and an air rifle

Some Extreme Rat Shooting taking place tonight. Running the brand new 1280 resolution HikMicro Stellar SX60 on the 22 calibre air rifle. Rat numbers have bred back up on this little poultry farm. and I'll be shooting them in the chicken pens and also out of the trees above. These filthy rodents continue to breed up despite the best efforts of the property owner. Trapping has proven difficult due to the fact that all the poultry on this farm are free range. Poison has been ineffective as the rats avoid it and go straight for the grain laid out for the poultry. Shooting with the dialed down air rifle is certainly the go to method in situations like these. Just as the sun goes down, the rats start coming out. At first into the pens and down to where the feeders have been during the day. Strangely on this property, soon after the shooting starts, the rats make their way up into the trees. A couple of hours work resulted in well over 100 rats being removed. I'll be back in a couple of weeks to conduct a follow shoot and hopefully clean up whats left. The setup I'm running tonight is the FX Impact M3 .22cal air rifle. 600mm barrel, Vipertek suppressor, Saber Tactical arca swiss rail, shooting 15.89gr Hades pellets at 630fps.
