It might come as a surprise to many that a foreign girl from the wealthy social welfare country of Finland wouldn't rather be anywhere else than in India for the Coronavirus crisis. Finnish healthcare system is world famous, but I don't think my native country or the western world are doing a very good job in beating Covid19. And many of my country men have a hard time believing that India could be handling the situation better than the rich West. Sure even India isn't doing a perfect job, but I trust the government's strict measures and feel completely safe here, even though we live in the middle of the biggest hotspot in the country in Kerala. Yesterday PM Modi addressed the nation with a welcome extension to the lockdown and it'll mean that by May I've spent 2 months in quarantine, but India is using all the weapons against the virus!
