This video serves to example some of Hideki Naganuma's samples and their origins, in the hopes that I can inspire you (and your friends) to help me discover where the rest of the samples are from. I find it exciting to go searching for the origin of these samples because it feels like I'm taking apart Hideki's work and seeing what makes it tick. Hideki Naganuma is a sampling demon. I'm trying to find out where every one of his samples originates from. It will not be easy, and that is why I need your help. The Sonic Rush samples can be found here: http://idisk.mac.com/pietro10-Public/... (courtesy of Andlabs @ SonicRetro) Original SonicRetro forum thread: http://forums.sonicretro.org/index.ph... Many examples courtesy of: whosampled.com - notable contributors: latergator43, tocksickfocks Other people I wish to thank: madhair60 (for Sylvester & Tweety timecode), huepow00 (for discovering Sylvester & Tweety sample), troysson81 (their original video inspired me to make this one), IAMCRASHMAN (for leading me on a wild goose chase with the incorrectly associated Super Junk Boy sample), VEVO (for MJ and Paula Abdul music video), Foxms15 & HellfireMisc (gameplay footage of Sonic Rush), anyone else I missed out, and everyone else who assisted; and you, for watching this video.
