DSSL - IPro AI Solution Barnet Council

This case study video was filmed late last year for an ongoing project we are delivering with Barnet Council. The project has involved a significant modernisation programme, including the transition from the old Enfield control room to a brand new control room based in Barnet. Alongside this, new fibre circuits with AMG Systems switches have been installed to every camera location, with Hanwha Vision Europe and Bosch Security and Safety Systems cameras deployed across the borough’s public spaces and Axis Communications cameras fitted within libraries to support the management of unattended library sites. To support Barnet’s journey towards a smart city model, we have also introduced the i-PRO X Series. These cameras generate valuable dashboards of metadata for people and vehicle counting, giving the council access to GDPR-compliant, non-intrusive insights that will help inform future planning decisions. This data is being integrated with the council’s data team, and we are excited to see how they will make use of it going forward. Please note that while some of the advanced features showcased in this video may not yet be live in Barnet, the case study highlights the full potential of I-PRO Active Guard integrated with Genetec Security Centre. We are proud to have delivered this transformative project and look forward to supporting similar smart city initiatives in the future.
