It's best if we wait for a better circumstance. A better time, a better place, a better situation. I don't know why we had to face this strange fixation. And I accept my share of the blame, for worse or better, but like two moths drawn to the flame, we fell together. We were played by the sight of the currents that drove us to the edge. So afraid of the heights but we weren't afraid to be standing on the ledge. So were we blind, or were we pressed by our imagination? How'd we find ourselves obsessed with this strange fixation? And I accept my share of the blame, for worse or better, but like two moths drawn to the flame, we fell together. I tried to heal what was broken, did you try too? I tried to speak but misspoke and... you know it's true. It shouldn't have come this far, but history won't change. It's left us the sum of our scars, and now we've been estranged. Was it so foolish to believe we could resist temptation? Have we so cruelly been deceived by this strange fixation?
