This is a very beautiful nasheed. One of my favourites during uni-days. Tried my best to put up the translation. The words are poetic and my translation didnt exactly do justice to it. . The munsheed rahimahullah Misyary Al Aradah passed away 2 years ago (2018) in a car accident. He was 35. May Allah have mercy onto his soul. Alfatihah. . I have been listening to his nasheed since 2006. That time, most Arabic anasheed were in cassettes. . I tried putting in translation to the nasheed while recuperating from many ailments due to covid19 in a hospital's isolation few months back. I was looking for strength at that time and was holding on to hope. . This is about repentance. We can have the darkest past but it shouldnt prevent us from having the brightest moment. . The Prophet ﷺ said: Allah the Almighty said: "I am as My servant expects Me to be" . Forgiveness and acceptance of repentance by the Almighty is subject to His servant truly believing that He is forgiving and merciful. However, not to accompany such belief with the right action will be useless and in vain. . Indeed Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves. .
