How to schedule an Online Consultation (Telemedicine) | G.A. Mercado Medical Clinic

G.A. Mercado Medical Clinic is now offering Online Consultation/ Telemedicine. Online consultation has its own limitations. The doctor cannot do complete physical examination on the patient. This can affect the diagnosis and treatment of choice. Online consultation is only for non-urgent cases. Patients who need urgent/ immediate care should go immediately to the nearest emergency department. We do not issue medical certificate for our online patients (previous/new patients) If you need medical certificate, we advise you to go to your nearest hospital of choice for complete physical evaluation. G.A. Mercado Medical Clinic will video call the patient using Zoom. All audio, video, and screen sharing data in Zoom is encrypted as stated in Zoom’s official website This is an added security for the protection of your personal medical information. How to book your appointment: 1. Like and Send us a message in our Facebook page: G.A. Mercado Medical Clinic by Dr Genesis Mercado at least 24 hours before the preferred online consultation date a. Name of the patient b. Age c. Reason for consult d. Date and time of preferred online consultation e. Contact number (cellphone/ landline) f. For new patients: Photo of a valid I.D. with picture (government ID, school ID etc) • This will help us validate the identity of our online patient g. For Seniors/ PWD: send us a photo of your Senior/PWD ID for the 20% professional fee discount 2. Wait for the clinic’s message confirmation 3. Settle your payment through one of the following options: (Details will be send on your messenger) a. GCash b. RCBC • Send us a copy of the payment transaction 4. Download the Zoom application in your phone/ computer 5. Message us the email address that you used in your Zoom registration 6. 10 minutes before the consultation, we will send in your email the zoom link of the online consultation 7. During consultation, the doctor will ask the patient to look in front of the camera. The doctor will get a screenshot of our online patient. The photo generated will be included in your prescription and laboratory request. The photo will also be stored in our clinic files. 8. The doctor will give you e-prescription and e-laboratory request if needed. 9. The doctor will give you a photo copy of your consultation receipt. 10. If you want a hard copy of your e-prescription, e-laboratory request, consultation receipt, you may claim it in our clinic’s pharmacy section.
