Is Indian IT actually dying? Or is everyone just panicking? In this video, I break down the REAL forces reshaping Indian IT and why calling it "dead" is a massive overstatement. Here's what's actually happening: 🔹 AI agents like Claude Code and Cowork are automating testing, backend work, and code generation, directly threatening the headcount-driven billing model of TCS, Infosys, Wipro & co. 🔹 GCCs (Global Capability Centres) - 1,700 of them now in India are growing at 40% annually and eating into the outsourcing pie that Indian IT companies once owned. 🔹 Twitter fired 80% of its workforce and still runs. That's the new playbook. Leaner teams, AI tools, same (or better) output. BUT here's my contrarian take: The IT companies that ADOPT AI well? They could actually see margin expansion, better operating leverage, and stronger growth than before. The game isn't over. It's changing. I look at this as an INVESTOR, not a job seeker. And that changes everything. Companies to watch: TCS, Coforge, Persistent Systems, L&T Mindtree, Infosys ⚠️ This video does NOT give investment advice.
