Today I am sharing very tasty kharvas or chick vadi /burfi recipe mean colostrum milk burfi. Colostrum milk is a very first thick milk of cow ,buffelow after giving birth to baby calf. Ingredients: . 1/2 litre kharwas milk chick/colostrum milk . Sugar (Needs measure as per cooked grated colostrum milk/Karvas) . 1 tbsp fresh cream . 1/2 tsp green cardamom powder . little ghee/classified butter Method: . Take a colostrum milk in a utensil, cover it with lid. .Put it in pressure cooker and allow to pressure cook it on high flame,till 3 whistle. . Due to pressure cooking colostrum milk becomes solid, allow to cool it for 1 hour. . Mean time grease a big flat plate with little ghee also grease a small plate bottom with ghee and keep it aside. . Cut the soild colostrum milk in big pieces, then separate it. . Grate the solid colostrum milk/kharvas with grater. . Now measure it with any bowl. fully packed by pressing. . For fully packed grated kharwas bowl, add equal amount of sugar or little less as per taste. but should't be less than 3/4 bowl. . If you add less sugar than 3/4 bowl the burfi will not set properly. . Add fresh cream ,mix it properly. . Then saute this mixture continuously on high -medium flame. . When mixture becomes little dry add cardamom powder and mix it. . Again saute this mixture till properly become dry. . Transfer this mixture in greased big plate and spread it with saptula. . Press the mixture gently with bottom of greased small plate to make it even. . Allow to set and cool this mixtur for 1-2 minutes. . Then cut it in square or dimond shape pieces with knife/cutter. .Allow to cool it completely then separate all pieces. . Kharvas or colostrum milk burfi is ready. . Store it in dry airtight container for 8-9 days. Thank you..
