0:00- Intro 0:57- 3rdMIX 4:17- 3rdMIX PLUS Release Date: October 30th, 1999 PLUS Release Date: June 21st, 2000 Scrapped Songs: (3rd) BEATS LIKE THIS- UNKNOWN PROJECT: This song was actually scrapped from Dancing Stage EuroMix, which runs on 3rd mix's engine. There, graphics and charts of this song were found. What ties this song to 3rdMIX...is Paranoia Rebirth. If you didn't know, its charts reference other songs in the game. Oddly enough, its Trick and Maniac charts have a section that doesn't seem to reference anything...until you look at 'BEATS LIKE THIS', and its respective charts line up properly. (3rd) CAN'T TAKE MY EYES OFF OF YOU(70's Remix)- BEAT BOX: This one was actually in 3rd Mix's location test before being cut. Charts, graphics, and lyrics for the song are still present in the game's data. (PLUS) TOTAL RECALL- ULTIMATE HEIGHTS: My favorite song from the game, and it's not even in it lol. Charts and graphics are present in the data. No audio of any of these songs exist. While there is a way to edit the game's database to replace a song with these ones in the roster...I have no clue how. If you're interested in playing them, people have made custom cuts for them on Z-I-V, and you can play them through that. This Mix adds a LOT of new things, relatively speaking. New characters! New dance routines! New license artists! New scoring system! It really feels like they were expanding upon 2nd Mix with this one. Starting from here, songs will no longer be locked to the stage you're playing on, but two very notable debuts here are Level 9 "Catastrophic" songs and bemani crossovers. While both were a thing by the Club Versions, this game introduces them properly, and BOY did they deliver. This mix has a lot of difficult songs in it, with even the licenses showing some bite themselves. As seen in the video, you can actually "switch" your game mode on the title screen. 3rd Mix PLUS, is the version we look at today which not only adds some extra songs to the game, but is also the first time where MANIAC difficulty can be accessed without a code. By the way, "Soft Mode" is the exact same list, except some notes will be removed from charts(think of it as a proto Little/CUT1 modifier).
