Song Used: • Kazakh March: Мен Қазақпын - I am Kazakh (I apologize if some of the lyrics are incorrect) Reminder, this is a work of fiction and shouldn’t be taken seriously Leader: Saken Zhasuza Ideology: Stratocracy Economy: Military Directed A RECOUNT OF EVENTS From ANONYMOUS DEFECTOR “I remember I was a young man, having to drive a truck with supplies to a nearby camp, along the way, I saw two soldiers, one Kazakh & one German, exchanging conversation and laughter. I thought to myself, ‘Can we really trust them?’ The Germans had been helping out by sending us supplies, despite their economic struggles at the time. They promised us that they would aid us in our crusade against the Russians; however, our main goal at that moment was to just deal with any Russians or Poles within our current borders, whilst our army rebuilt. As you know, the Germans had settled an Expedition Force in the western part of Russia. We had a deal that they would help us reunite Kazakhstan, and they would expand their Expedition Zone further to extract resources. I remember on the Radios and a few working Televisions, the Leaders, mainly the young Saken Zhasuza, would say, ‘Together we will revive Kazakhstan from the ashes! We will redefine what it means to be a Kazakh! The Muscovites will all burn along the plains of the Steppes!’ or things of that nature. When I arrived at the camp, one thing that caught my eye was the three towering pillars of black smoke rising from the camp, and the stench of burning corpses struck my nose like thunder. I drove to the back of the camp, showed the guards the paperwork, and we began gathering crates and moving them to a storage room. As we did, I saw many prisoners, Men, Women, & Children, just skin and bone, some unable to walk, some lying dead in the dirt. The dead were picked up by those who were most likely next to fall and thrown into the fiery mass graves. It was difficult for my eyes to witness all of this. When I made it back to the truck, my mind was spiraling on about ‘You shouldn’t care for these people! Remember what they’ve done to your homeland?!’ I knew what brutality occurs at these camps, but I couldn’t help but feel the dread and sorrow, after all, weren’t we all just trying to survive at this point? As I drove away, I tried to bury these thoughts in the deepest parts of my mind, lest it be my head on the chopping block.” So yeah, as you saw, Germany would aid these guys, and should they manage to reunite Kazakhstan, they would also invade the Restoration Committee of Turkistan and Western Siberia, and set up their own Protectorates, heavily inspired by the Reichkommissariats, like several other polices they implemented that were inspired by the Reich. They also take a page out of the Redeemed Black Leagues Book in the sense that they see Kazakhs outside of their faction as quote: “Outsiders who are plagued with Muscovite sympathies.” The Deutsche Expeditionszone, which is a mere last-ditch attempt to save the German economy, expands into Western Russia and starts taking whatever useful Resources and bringing them to Germany, much to the public's dissatisfaction (I’d imagine the public wouldn’t be too happy about their government using more resources and putting them towards a ruined, decrepit Russia) The Americans on the East Coast would have more of a reason to expand their influence to the lands unconquered by the blood thirsty Kazakh state, they know Germany and Kazakhstan can't hold those Russian lands for long, They just need to wait for their metaphorical clock to run out.
