READIO Ethiopia is proud to share the full documentary of our 15th Community Health Mission, implemented in close collaboration with the Sidama National Regional State Public Health Institute. This partnership was initiated through strategic dialogue during the International Conference on Primary Health Care (ICPHC 2025) between Dr. Damene Debalke, Director General of the Sidama Public Health Institute, and Dr. Lisanwork Honsebo, Founder & CEO of READIO Ethiopia. What began as a policy-level discussion became real action on the ground. Through this collaboration, READIO Ethiopia mobilized a multidisciplinary volunteer team to hard-to-reach communities in Luka Abaya Woreda, delivering cost-effective, community-based health services while strengthening the existing health system through on-job training and capacity building. 🔹 Mission Focus • Integration of mental health services at health extension level • Strengthening maternal and child health services at health center level • Capacity building for health extension workers and facility staff • Practical, community-based problem solving alongside local teams This documentary reflects READIO Ethiopia’s core approach: not only delivering services, but building skills, systems, and sustainability.
