That is correct, we have never celebrated Dilawi before and before last month, we didn't know it existed! Learning new cultures is always fun, so we gave some of the traditions a go for ourselves. The traditions were pretty cool and definitely family friendly! The kids seem to enjoy themselves! I don't know if the sweets are true Indian food or if the shopkeeper sold us some dodgy goods! It was alright though. The orange peel candle was a complete fail but it was still fun to do. I'm unsure why our orange peel candle didn't work tbh.
