Alico Industries has developed a unique product unmatched anywhere else since it has considered the harsh conditions of the gulf environment of heat, moisture, and sand storms. The battery is IP67, can withstand temperatures up to 70 degrees and is installed within the pole itself. The photovoltaic flexible panel wraps vertically around the pole so as not to collect dust and eliminate the need for orientation setting. Alico uses ADM/RTA approved luminaires to maintain the required standards, uniformity and compliance. Finally, the devices and objects are with built-in sensors and are connected to an internet of things platform (IoT), using data terminal unit (DTU) which can manage 1-200 solar lights that can communicate through Zigbee/ Lora and cloud server communication though 2G/3G/4G and wireless.
