Serving Ideas for Festive Gatherings: We’ll share serving tips so your tikkis are the highlight of any Diwali get-together. 👨🍳 Ingredients You’ll Need: For Dry Fruit Chutney: Tamarind pulp - 1 cup Water - 1 cup Jaggery powder - 2-3 tbsp Red chilli powder - 1 tsp Cumin powder - 1 tsp Salt - 1.5 tsp Black pepper powder - to taste Soaked dates - 50-60 grams Raisins - 20-30 grams Skinned almonds - 20-30 grams For Tikki: Spinach (squeezed and chopped) - 250 grams Crushed paneer - 50-60 grams Boiled potato (mashed) - 1 small Salt - to taste Garam masala - to taste Black pepper - to taste Roasted chana flour (besan) - as needed Cumin powder - 1 tsp Emami Ultralite soybean oil (for frying) - as needed Process: • Prepare the Dry Fruit Chutney: Combine tamarind pulp and water in a vessel. Add jaggery powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, salt, black pepper, soaked dates, raisins, and skinned almonds. Cook on low heat, allowing the mixture to thicken. Set aside to cool. • Make the Tikki: Mix chopped spinach, crushed paneer, and mashed potato in a bowl. Season with salt, garam masala, black pepper, and cumin powder. Gradually add roasted chana flour to form a dough that holds together. Roll into 5-6 balls (about 40-50 grams each) and flatten them. • Fry the Tikkis: Heat Emami Ultralite soybean oil in a pan. Fry the tikkis until golden brown on both sides. Remove and drain on paper towels. • Plating: Spread a layer of the dry fruit chutney on a plate. Place the fried tikkis on top, then drizzle more chutney over them. Add another layer of tikkis. Top with curd, sprinkle with red chilli powder and garnish with chopped coriander.
