Making soap ~ Just a Girl and her Horse ~ Sculpted cold process technique

Just a girl and her horse with a glowing sunset in the background. I hoped to portray the beautiful bond of friendship between a young lady and a majestic creature in this soap, and hope you can feel the tranquility and warmth in this scene. I've had this design in my head for the longest time, and finally decided that it needed to be made. I tried to refrain from sharing it too soon, but who am I kidding? I absolutely love the way it turned out! I've taken a long break from making soap, but making this design reminded me all over again what it is exactly that I love about this craft! Soaking in every moment and pouring my heart and soul into the details, from the mixing of colorants to get them just right to pouring the oh-so-satisfying gradients that I adore, it's a wonderful feeling to just be at peace with one's thoughts. This really brought something back to life inside me, and I am here for it! They're scented with a glorious fragrance blend from ‪@bramble-berry‬ with soft but energizing notes of grapefruit, lemon, lime, cucumber, jasmine, pineapple, blackberry and champagne that pair perfectly with the design concept.
