Christians on the Left (CotL) presents the Tawney Dialogue 2018 "Equality, Opportunity and Social Mobility - Can we make Britain a society that works for all? The Annual Tawney Dialogues are named after Richard Henry Tawney, a historian, Labour party activist and early Christian socialist. Each year, a theologian presents their perspective on the topic of discussion and a guest politician gives an insightful presentation, before a period of discourse between our speakers and other special guests. 2018 was no exception to the usual high standard of discussion and calibre of speakers.
