Flying to Scotland to support our youngest daughter playing for New Zealand was already a dream come true — but it also gave us the opportunity to explore one of the most beautiful places in the world. From walking through the heart of Glasgow City Centre, to standing in awe of The Highlands, driving through breathtaking Glencoe, visiting the legendary Loch Ness, and spending a full day soaking in the history of Edinburgh Castle — every moment felt surreal. To be on that side of the world, experiencing new landscapes, history, culture and memories together as a family… it truly felt like a blessing. This opportunity is once in a lifetime. As someone who carries many roles — mother, grandmother, carer — I don’t take this lightly. I am deeply thankful that God gave me the strength, health and courage to travel that far and witness this chapter of our daughter’s journey. Grateful. Humbled.
