"Kelas Inspirasi” (Inspiration Class) is a voluntary program where professionals in various fields take a day off to teach and share their experiences with children in grades 1 through 6. This program focuses on marginalized schools in remote areas. After applying and going through a selection process, I was selected as one of the volunteers to teach the children about my profession as a writer. In this video, we share testimonials about our experiences as volunteers. It was truly an amazing experience! It was draining, but strangely, it made me excited 😆 At the end of the video, you can see me holding a hand fan. One of the girls gave it to me because she knew the hot sun was making me uncomfortable. They were too sweet and innocent 🥹 The older children refused to call me "Ma’am" because they thought I was more suited to being their big sister. (—So they call me "Sis" instead) 😅 This month (January 2026), "Kelas Inspirasi" is accepting new volunteers in Baubau Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia. ‼️Requirements: You must be at least 20 years old and have been actively involved in your profession for at least two years.
