Credit to WaningSol for the thumbnail 105k Hexa Converted (114.2k in this specific run w/ gimp LC and no apples/housing/chair) - https://imgur.com/a/h8kLPmj There are a lot of stronger NLs out there who seem to have misjudged their dmg and tried to tap their gear when they already had the dmg. With perfect play, probably doable at a functional 113k with as0. First HKaling clear with full arcanes? Please send help, my account seed is glitched. Overall a very tough boss to prog, usually I'm able to clear bosses within a lower number of attempts but this one was different. One mistake or bad rng moment at a critical point would kill the run. Maybe it's because my current form is not great or I'm not as good as I used to be but this boss was extremely frustrating at times that I changed strats like 4 to 5 different times until I finally settled on something comfortable. Was very tilting that I had to essentially clear the boss twice as I had a run a couple weeks back that was pretty much a clear but I crashed before the last burst. But regardless, happy that it's finally over. TLDR on P1 NL strats - if you want to maximize dmg in P1 on NL go Dog - Tiger - Bird. Entry dog gives you the entire burst to hit him whereas entry bird flies for a portion of your spread. You can consider Tiger start with a -4 hat but with any other hat you delay the first burst too much and popping everything off cd is very important to ensure you get enough time at the end for last burst. NL specifically in this boss is like bringing a knife to a gun fight. When there's multi-patterns in P3 and your dash is on cooldown you might as well ff because we don't have an on-demand movement ability to dodge and the iframe isn't responsive enough to proc mid-quad so you just have to stop attacking if you know an attack is coming but then it's a min-cut so you don't wanna stop attacking so then you just keep attacking and take the L. You also have to find ways to maximize AoE dmg in P3 with not much AoE (omen/flare between perils & trying to get throwblasting procs on both Kaling and the perils. Balance patch in maybe a month should alleviate these issues with AoE quad. NL rant for sub 105k hatewatchers - This class is simple to play but it's like missing abilities which makes it require better positioning compared to classes that can just dodge anything they want to whenever they want to which easy to do if you have a keyboard? Any armchair analyst with their CTene/Seren/Kalos warlord NL can say the class is easy, because it is in those bosses since those bosses don't really do much. I wouldn't die once for months in those bosses on NL either but would need a lot of practice in the bosses with multiple attacks. The boss mechanics in this game are moving in a lot more complex direction which leaves a class that feels like 4th job NW without any tools. Why are we the only class that has a 5s cooldown on our dash? Why does our run end if our RoR is placed slightly away from the boss? Why do we have to sit right on top of the boss to deal dmg? Why do our 60s get gimped if the boss decides to move a bit in the wrong direction? Feels counter-intuitive that sometimes just not attacking and positioning yourself for the next burst feels like the objectively better play rather than min-maxing your quads and getting clipped by a bad pattern and bricking your min-cut run. 00:00 - P1 Dog 02:15 - P1 Tiger 05:57 - P1 Bird 08:19 - P2 13:58 - P3
