North Pole Express at the Florida Railroad Museum!

Every December for a few weekends before Christmas the Florida Railroad Museum in Parrish has its annual North Pole Express! It's a train ride from Parrish to the Willow yard and event grounds which is transformed into the North Pole, complete with entertainment, arts and crafts, hot chocolate and Santa Claus! In this video you will see the North Pole Express train as it passes by at Dickey Road, which is mile post SW 858.0 (which represents 858 miles to Richmond, VA back in the heydays of Seaboard Air Line), as well as departure and arrival from the Parrish station. Passengers take the train up to the Willow yard which is transformed into the North Pole and return to Parrish after a couple of hours. After all, North Pole Express is by no doubt the Florida Railroad Museum's biggest event of the year, rivaling Day Out With Thomas which is held in March. North Pole Express is well attended and very popular. As the North Pole Express is a very popular event, tickets for the North Pole Express go on sale in August and tickets do sell out quickly especially for prime evenings.
