Intricate stone carvings of deities etched into the walls and ceilings . The images and stone carvings on the walls tells stories from Hindu scriptures.It also includes design elements from ancient Indian culture of 10,000 statues and carvings. Nilkanth Varni, teenaged Bhagwan Swaminarayan bronze statue stands in a yogic posture at 49-feet tall at the entrance of the Akshardham. His calm composure symbolizes discipline, spiritual focus, compassion, empathy, and tranquil service to all. The Brahma Kund,- A traditional stepped pond is filled with the water from the sacred 108 holy rivers of India and those flowing through fifty states of the United States. This step well invites you to pause , reflect and embark on a journey of self discovery. The Welcome Center - visitors are welcomed by the volunteers and introduced to the essence of Hinduism. The Mandir is a place of worship where worshippers come to offer prayers. Hindu scriptures , sacred figures are carved on the walls of the mandir. The Akshardham Mahamandir - It stands at the centerpoint of the campus. Intricate carving on the walls, pillars and roof is awe -inspiring and words will fall short to describe it. The Shayona Cafe offers delightful vegetarian Indian and Western cuisines. Cafe provides an opportunity to experience fusion of flavors. Deities prayed inside the temple.
