The retailers at the mall are known high street brands bringing with them many years of experience to make the day out or shopping trip a unique and pleasurable experience. To add to this, there is always something new and exciting happening at the mall. This month, the exhibitors are promoting the Festival of Light in this historic building lined with modern retail units to suit a wide range of visitors, from high end luxury stores to independent boutiques and vintage shops. it is everything from fashion to furniture and home decor to tech gadgets. Fancy a quick bite to eat like a croissant, meat pastry or sandwich? Or something more substantial like a 3 course meal? The mall has a good number of cafes, casual eateries and chic gastropubs and everything in between to satisfy the hungry or not that hungry enthusiast. Stay put for a while to find out and schedule in your diary the regular round the year events to be seen or just be entertained at live music performances, fashion shows, workshops, family friendly entertainments, etc. Want quality time with the family? There is the interactive game and kidszones and far reaching views of the River Thames, London skyline and iconic landmarks like the Houses of Parliament and the renown Big Ben clock near Parliament Square. Battersea Park Station is about 10 minutes from Battersea Power Station, and is near bus lines route: Buses 44, 49, 137, 156, 344, 436 Overground train lines: South London Line and Brighton Main Line. (Battersea Park Station to destination Highbury & Islington - 18 stations are on this route). Underground train: Sloane Square with a 20-30 minute walk to Battersea Park Road starting with a walk to Lower Sloane Street, then Chelsea Bridge Road. (Downside is, there are many side roads turning off these roads, the wrong turning could lead to Gloucester Road or other parts of London). Bus 137 from Sloane Square is a more convenient option. Bus 137 route has 32 stops. From Sloane Square, (destination Telford Avenue [TA]), descend at Battersea Park/Chelsea Gate (CJ), which is 4/5 stops away. The travel time is fast, reliable and easy to change between different train lines on the train platforms at Battersea Park Station, making it easy to get around London with its direct links to mainline train stations like Victoria and Waterloo; the train tickets are reasonable and especially convenient for budget conscious commuters. Battersea Park Road is also monitored by its cleaning staff to ensure a safe and clean space throughout the day for a more enjoyable commuter experience. Further still, Battersea Park Road has lifts and escalators for commuters with mobility concerns or disabilities. Bike storage facilities are available at the station for cycles and a good option for shorter journeys in and around the area or outside of London. Commuters feeling the need for a coffee or a snack won't be disappointed by the cafés and convenient eatery stops and newsagents by the station entrance.
