Today in MTGA Unedited Games, I’m testing TWO versions of Mythic Mike’s Skelly Demons deck 🦴😈 I originally planned on playing just one version… but I happened to notice that Mythic Mike had updated the list, so I figured—why not play both and see how they compare in real games? 🧪 Deck Experiment Breakdown 🧩 Old Version (with tweaks): I made a couple changes to the original list: ❌ Cut 2 Tragic Trajectory ✅ Added 2 Strategic Betrayal 🌍 Dropped down to 22 lands I was flooding out a lot with this version (you’ll definitely see it in the games), so the land cut felt necessary at the time. 🧩 New Version (unchanged): This one I played exactly as Mythic Mike built it—no changes at all. And honestly? For some reason, the new version just felt way better. It didn’t seem to flood nearly as much and overall felt smoother, at least from the games recorded here. 📊 Results Here’s the wild part: 👉 Both decks finished 4–3 Same record. Totally different feel.
