I'm just a normal person like any other American citizen living in poverty. Just as normal as you who are watching this video. I have no background in politics, I dropped out of high-school, got my GED, and never graduated from any college. I'm just a regular person, however I am exercising my right to stand up and fight for JUSTICE FOR ALL. In this video, other cannabis activist and myself who are members of DCMJ & MDMJ took on the challenge of lobbying on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC for a bill titled "Marijuana in Federally Assisted Housing Parity Act of 2018" that would protect citizens in low-income housing from being evicted for their cannabis use and/or possession in their homes. This bill was inspired by one of the millions of federal housing recipients named Sondra Battle who lives in DC, and was introduced by Congresswoman Elenor Norton Holmes in early 2018. This video captures footage of RachelRamone Donlan, Ryan Grady, and myself in the halls of the Longworth House Office Building delivering packets for the bill H.R. 6152 to Representatives across the nation seeking co-sponsorship.
