The QSC KC12 Active 3-Way Column Loudspeaker gives musicians the cartage comfort of a modular sound system, along with an extended sound spectrum—thanks to its 3-way speaker component for dedicated highs, mids and lows. In addition, the KC12 offers two integrated Class-D power amps—2,000 watts for the subwoofer and 1,000 for the midrange and high-frequency sections—145 degrees of horizontal dispersion, 35 degrees of vertical coverage, onboard reverb and delay, and the ability to program your own EQ settings or use the KC12’s presets. News from the QSC booth: “This is a brand-new concept on how QSC wants to deliver a column speaker. We want to provide a column-speaker experience with nice sight lines and portability, but we also looked to address sound quality and performance issues we hear from out in the field. What we’ve done is actually devise a 3-way speaker into a column-shaped design.
