Hey y'all, Recently I was trying to get decorators for Shiver (you know, the layout) and it proved difficult. In particular, I wanted to get gren, a mobile creator who could not use NONG songs. He ended up joining the collab anyway but I felt that I should make this for him to make it easier for him to add pulses and stuff. So here we are. I'm sorry if it doesn't live up to the original for you; it really doesn't with me. Unfortunately, I still have no idea whatsoever of how to use serum to create good synths or fx so I ended up just spamming stock effects all over the track which substituted alright, I guess, but not perfectly. The instrumentation is also mediocre at best. You may wonder: "If you know the instruments suck, why didn't you change them?" Mainly because changing them wouldn't make them any better; I'd spent hours hunting for good synths already. I honestly spent more time trying to get good instruments than doing anything else. For these reasons I urge you to replace the song in the final level when it is released for the original. The process of making a cover was interesting. It's certainly a bit more stressful, as you don't really know what you should do, as opposed to making your own original track where you can do whatever you want. However, I think that it is an illuminating and inspirational experience that will hopefully benefit my future tracks. This is also my most complicated track by far, with ~25 instruments, which still isn't a whole lot but is twice as much as Reminiscence which was my previous most complex track and is over six times as much as The Spiral of Night (which somehow remains my favorite to this day, lol.) Anyway, I hope you enjoy. I'd like to leave you with a quote that I found fitting for this: "Inhale for a count of five, exhale for ten - when you feel short of breath, it's because you're forgetting to exhale."
