Balloon to be in Syracuse St. Patrick's Parade for first time in 10 years

The Syracuse St. Patrick's Parade is Saturday, March 14 at noon. The parade will feature staples plus new additions this year. "New this year we have a balloon at the parade. We haven't had a balloon in probably 10 years, so we are really excited about that," said Parade President Vince Christian. "We have a helicopter from Fort Drum that's going to fly over during the middle of the parade and do a flyover over the site." New awards are also being presented.
