I had the amazing opportunity to have a chat with independent watchmaker Vianney halter, the watchmaker who is currently best known for watches such as the Deep Space, the Antiqua and Classic Janvier. This episode starts off with Vianney’s background, born in France, and how he later moves to Switzerland. We get to explore behind the designs of the Antiqua, and how the Deep Space Triple Axis Tourbillon came to be created by Vianney. It’s so amazing to hear, each watch has unique elements in the life of Vianney that led to the creation of each watch master piece. Such as Star Trek, and science fiction. Vianney has a script from the original pilot of star trek signed by William Shatner. Vianney Halter also does work for other Swiss watch brands, and learn about some of design aspects in terms of his perpetual calendar complication in the Gold Pfeil watch, or the development of his self winding complication for this watches.
