👣Walk with Me in Oslo | Harbour Promenade | 4K HDR | June 2024👣 The "Harbor Promenade" is an approx. 9-km long, continuous promenade along the entire seafront in central Oslo, from Alna's outlet in "Grønlia" in the east, through the center of Oslo with "Bjørvika", "Akersneset| and "Pipervika", and to the bottom of "Frognerkilen". The "Promenade" was adopted in 2008 as part of the "Fjordbyen project", which is planned to last until 2030. The promenade has an average width of 20 m and is designed for bicycle and pedestrian traffic. Some parcels were built as a promenade before the project ("Frognerkilen", "Aker brygge", "Tjuvholmen", "Rådhusplassen", the quayside around the "Oslo Opera House" etc.), while other sections will be built a few years from now (Filipstad, Grønlia). Signs and route marking of the Harbor Promenade was completed at the opening of the Harbor Promenade on 14 June 2015. The route is marked with various orange elements, including 14 orange containers of multiple sizes that act as information points. This walking tour is mostly focused on the "Rådhusplassen" (Oslo City Hall) part of the "Harbour Promenade".
