Primus Lite + Review after real world use I've used this stove system for many months now on hikes with the kids, solo hikes and a few camps. I've used it in windy and calm weather and have waited until I knew the stove prior to making this review. It's my belief that you can't credibly review any product if you have only just received it. I find it nice and compact, with low weight. The quality of the burner assembly is fantastic. Whilst not the out and out quickest stove I own, it's very quiet and this makes for a very peaceful user experience when you're trying to relax in the mountains. The piezo igniter has worked well for me and the stove nests with a small gas cartridge too. You know you're getting quality with Primus. The insulated sleeve works well, along with the handle system. I love that you can use it with other cookware by using the three pins, which makes this a very versatile stove indeed. The stove weighs in at 402g Capacity - 0.5L Piezo Igniter A 100G gas cartridge WILL nest inside with the burner head Ability to use with other cookware by screwing on the 3 included metal pegs Ability to use suspended with hardware included for this Regulated burner = more efficient and consistent performance Things I don't like so much - plastic lid can be scratched by metal buckle on strap when fastening closed Primus is a tried and tested, long-standing outdoor brand that makes quality equipment. The burner is a solid, well made piece of kit and the quality is evident. I'd say the stove is more suited to the solo hiker / camper - but you can get by for two if required. The only thing I'd like to see differently is a tweak to the fastner to prevent scratches to the lid. MCM Outdoors is not monetised because I disagree with the direction the platform is heading in.
