Using about 3,000 photographs taken from the International Space Station by Chris Williams last February 24, we created this #timelapse. This is a night flyover of the #ISS from the Arabian Sea to Eastern Russia. The most interesting part of the sequence is near the coast of India: you can clearly distinguish Indian fishing boats operating offshore, while Chinese fleets gather along the border of international waters, exactly 200 nautical miles from the mainland. The video covers a 20-minute time span and is therefore sped up about 7 times compared to the actual speed of the Station. **CORRECTION** The city at 1:51 is Hami (China), not Ulaanbaatar (which is visible later). ---------------- The AstronautiCAST YouTube channel is run by passionate volunteers on an unpaid basis.
