watch live: / perplexity disc (macros, addons, etc): / discord tracklist: breakbeat era - bulletproof (unkle remix) alaska seba - back from eternity mat zo - too late (matt lange remix) kelis - milkshake (kiko remix) the nasha experience - dayam erythh - sugoi unknown error - easy rider salome (club mix) I'm very biased having played quite a lot during anniversary and having my own feelings about it, but, the game's different on this server - r14 gear is free, wsg is rare sadly and the client's stacked with bugs. Blizzard catered to the human male pvers/the raidlog meta and pvp's a huge afterthought. The game's still fun in some ways (subjective), but you can't blame other pvpers for getting bored. You could say, "doesn't everyone having r14 gear level the playing field?" which is a very a fair question. My answer is, for the open world, no. 14 gear isn't balanced around classes (some classes benefit far more), so should be gated behind succeeding somewhat consistently in pvp, making it so if you want it, you have to pvp & win. Then, the gear's more rare and by extension, those who you fight, you can have fun battles with. When you're scrapping a human male with 9000 effective hp and he's clicking all his spells and backpedaling, not only are you bored, but you're forced to waste all your buttons for an unsatisfying kill, because all he had to do to get the gear, was afk in AV for 15 hours a week. Imagine the outcry if Blizzard handed naxx gear out to us pvpers for winning in warsong/ab. I'm not personally against the gear being more accessible in general, but when it's handed out as a participation reward, pveers who play like target dummies (literally) mass populate the open world on their human male warriors and sponge every bit of damage you deal while randomly critting you for half of your health when their keyboard turning finally lines up for a brief second. Numbers wise as an example, your average backstab will non crit for 350 on r14 plate. Energy regens at 20 every 2 seconds. Backstab costs 60. The average r14 warrior will have 5500 hp. Then there's the bugs. Batching is 'bugged'/unblizzlike. Can't vanish instantly applied abilities. Can't trade most instant casts (think gouge ns, vanish scatter, kidney hoj, etc.); rogue turns into bland cd trading, decision making tree smaller. The scatter you wanted to gouge, now instead you eat a full trap and take 70% of your hp while the hunter's 40 yards away. Can't break restealths / vanishes with targetted abilities ('Invalid Target' bug, think blinding, gouging, sapping, whatever). Auto attacks can bug and 'queue', so when you vanish/restealth in melee, someone can randomly hit you out without the auto doing any damage to actually break you out. Heartbeat is completely toast, it's not uncommon to have multiple 4-6s blinds per session vs. targets with 0 NR. Same applies for all CCs that can break to it. Blind can be resisted on application Abilities are dodgable from behind Proc talents don't match their percentage chances over thousands of attempts. MC cap sometimes doesn't work whatsoever, or will not cast spells even though the capped has mana. Despite this, because I'm retarded and still enjoy the game, I wanted to try and adapt to this 'meta' and create something different to watch. The clips are a mix. Adapting to non crits with tanky targets, heartbeats/bugs, targets potting, randomness of classes, playing around the fact there's no batching to outplay, wins with no prep or playing from behind, or just simply adapting to my own mistakes etc. I couldn't continue because of irl, but I'm happy with what I made and I hope there's something you can enjoy too. #worldofwarcraft #wowpvp #rogue
