Russia has shut down every church in occupied Ukraine that it does not fully control. Christians are being sent to Russian prison camps for holding Bible studies in their homes. Believers who have lived through the Soviet Union and occupied Ukraine say the latter is worse for Christians, especially Evangelicals. With some declaring Putin the savior of Christian values, support for aid to Ukraine among evangelical Christians who vote Republican is less than 40% while the same polling shows that telling this important voting block about the suffering of their brethren in Ukraine, increases support for Ukraine by 20%. “A Faith Under Siege” is a documentary film that tells the firsthand story of Ukrainian Christians who have suffered at the hands of the Russians. Filmmakers will show an inspiring clip from the film and a panel of experts will discuss Russia’s siege of the Christian faith and how it impacts the U.S. political debate. Participants: 🔶Sonya Soutus, Market Head, Ukraine, APCO Worldwide 🔷Rev. Johnnie Moore, President, Congress of Christian Leaders 🔶Steven Moore, Founder, Ukraine Freedom Project 🔷Colby Barrett, Executive Producer, A Faith Under Siege 🔶Mykola Kuleba, Founder, "Save Ukraine" Organization; Expert in child protection 🔷Ryan Lane,Ukraine Country Director, Samaritan’s Purse International
