Wiesbaden Army Housing

When we got orders for Wiesbaden I was disappointed at how difficult it was to find a floor plan, pictures or videos of the current housing. This was our second move to Germany, so although I kinda knew what to expect, I still wanted a peek! Once we were given a set of keys to look at an apt in a stairwell I made sure to record on my phone a mini clip of a quick walk through. This is of a top apt (3rd floor) in Aukamm housing. It's a renovated home with new flooring, fixtures, and appliances. There is a deck off the dinning/living room and another deck off the master bedroom. All windows are new with locks and screens. The glass doors out to the decks also have a magnetic closing screen door as well. There are two full baths (the one in the master bedroom has a single shower instead of the tub/shower combo). Closets have been added throughout! There is a coat closet as you walk in and every bedroom has closets. In the large hallway there is a nook with a huge deep linen closet as well. The laundry room is spacious and for those who have lived in Germany before.... No more trekking down to the basement to wash clothes!!! Hooray!!! The kitchen has lots of cabinets and are deep as well! Should be very easy to organize! This also comes with a dishwasher! This apt can fit a king sized bed~ but until all of them do, you need to realize that it's a risk to bring it! As i mentioned earlier, this is a 4 bedroom. The first bedroom is right next to the kitchen and just off the living room. Would be a great office/sewing/guest room. These homes also have American and German outlets. Hope this helps somebody out there that was like me... Curious to know what might be available!
