EyeTech Demonstration of AEye Vision Tracking Technology

Keith Jackson, Director of Sales and Marketing at EyeTech Digital Systems, demonstrates the company's latest embedded vision technologies and products at the January 2018 Consumer Electronics Show. Specifically, Jackson demonstrates AEye vision tracking, an exciting technology developed using components from Embedded Vision Alliance member companies such as ON Semiconductor (Aptina) and Xilinx, which provides a touch-free interface to any screen as well as valuable analytics. Demos show how AEye can be used on a smart TV at long distance (7 feet away); in automotive for infotainment control and driver monitoring; in a VR (virtual reality) HMD (head-mounted display) running at 500Hz to implement a simple and non-invasive eye scan test for neurological medical research purposes; and to implement "eye mouse" control on a Windows Surface Pro 4 tablet.
