Download & Installing the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pixel Experience Custom ROM

The Pixel Experience ROM for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 is already available and in this video, I will show you how to install it. ~~~~~ Hi! Don't forget to hit the "Thanks" button on this video, if you can, and join our channel community here -    / @explainingandroid   It's rare to get a custom ROM available for an Android smartphone so early in its life cycle. For reference, the Redmi Note 10 doesn't even have a custom recovery (like TWRP) yet so we'll be installing this ROM using the adb sideload method. Before we begin though, we need to have some things done ahead of time. This includes unlocking the bootloader, installing ADB & Fastboot tools, and having our smartphone on the required firmware. As of right now, Pixel Experience requires us to be on MIUI 12.0.5. If you don't have that version installed yet, either install the OTA updates to get up to that version or manually flash the firmware using the Mi Flash tool. Note: This required firmware MIUI version will likely change as Pixel Experience gets updated for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10. Be sure to read through the OP of the XDA thread when you download the ROM and recovery files. The ROM maintainers will keep that thread updated to let you know which version of MIUI you need to start with before you can flash the Pixel Experience ROM. Now you can download the ROM and recovery files (linked below) and then boot the Redmi Note 10 into Fastboot Mode. From here, install the custom AOSP recovery provided by the Pixel Experience devs as shown in the video and then reboot into the newly flashed recovery. It's here that we'll need to enter ADB sideload mode so that we can manually flash the custom ROM firmware to our smartphone. We'll be doing this via the command prompt as instructed in the video and it will take a few minutes to complete. Just be patient and don't worry if you see an error after reaching 47%. That's perfectly fine. Just make sure you don't see any error's on the smartphone itself (or before you get to that 47% mark). I get that error in the video too and it's nothing to worry about. With the Redmi Note 10 Pixel Experience ROM installed, we just have to reboot the phone now and activate Android like normal.
