One of the most listened-to bands in the world on MySpace, their first self-produced album Metaphysical Attraction enters the 2008 Grammy Awards ballot. Its track Ghost is featured in the end titles of the Ivano De Matteo movie Villetta con Ospiti. After several tours all over Europe they record their second album The Noir Album in California with Tool and Johnny Cash producer Sylvia Massy. They perform at SXSW and with Nine Inch Nails, Korn, Siouxsie & the Banshees, and even at London’s Erotica with Dita Von Teese. In 2009 they write and record Let There Be Light, a single with legendary UK film composer Michael Nyman. Their third album And There Was Light is recorded once again in the USA, with Metallica's Black Album engineer Mike Tacci. After more tours all over Europe they release their fourth album Shooting Dice With God and the single The God Below which in 2015 is included in the Clio Award-winning international TV spot for the movie Minions. In 2016 they release The Orchestral Album, a collection of 10 of their songs re-imagined and re-recorded in Rome with Ennio Morricone’s symphonic orchestra. Their latest album No Star Is Ever Too Far includes Black Beauty, featured in Michael Moore's documentary movie Fahrenheit 11/9, and The Turing Sniper, featured in Gabriele Muccino’s movie Ricordati Di Me and in G.M.Tavarelli’s movie Liberi. In 2022 they auction as an NFT Nothing Shines Unless It Burns in collaboration with theoretical physicist and million-selling author Carlo Rovelli. Belladonna’s Dani Macchi teaches Theory and Technique of the Movie Soundtrack in Rome’s LUISS University, ranked as one of the top 100 universities in the world by the Financial Times . Belladonna's songs and music have been licensed for the trailers of many international movies/tv series, including Peaky Blinders, Split, My Cousin Rachel, Fantastic 4, The Dark Tower, Godless, The Equalizer 2, The Northman, and Black Panther.
