We are honored to host C.F. Martin serial number 90975 ~ a one-owner, previously uncirculated 1945 "herringbone" D-28. This is the only completely original & heretofore unseen herringbone that has ever been presented to us in more than 55 years! Sure, we've seen comparable guitars over the years ~ but never in this sort of well-preserved condition (and original down to the bridge pins). As with most vintage guitars which have never been worked on, 90975 needed a fair amount of restorative maintenance when it arrived at TME.
