This Pencil Shading Trick Makes Eyes Look Real Stop Drawing Flat Eyes | Pencil Shading Full Process In this video, I show the full process of shading a realistic eye with pencil. The drawing is done using Staedtler Lumograph Black semi-charcoal pencils. I build the values gradually to create depth and realistic form. Cotton swabs and a soft brush are used to blend and soften the shadows. Tissue paper is also used heavily to fade transitions smoothly. In some areas, charcoal powder is applied to deepen the shadows and add volume. This helps the eye look more realistic and three-dimensional. For highlights, both kneaded erasers and pencil erasers are used. The focus is on light, shadow control, and clean blending.
