Honda City is set to get a makeover next year. This will be the second facelift since the fifth gen was introduced in 2020. The updated City is expected to debut in the second half of 2026, at a time when its rivals like the VW Virtus, Skoda Slavia, and Hyundai Verna are also getting a midlife makeover. Reports suggest that the 2026 Honda City facelift could borrow design cues from the new Civic and other global Honda models. The car might feature a redesigned front grille, reworked bumpers and new LED headlamps and taillights. The City facelift is expected to receive minor changes on the interior. While the overall layout will remain unchanged, the car might get a hardware update and fresh upholstery. The 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine is likely to be carried over unchanged. It produces 119 BHP @ 6,600 rpm and 145 Nm @ 4,300 rpm and comes mated to either a 6-speed manual or a CVT.
