We explore 2 thirds of the world’s largest series of waterfalls by suspended platforms above the falls including the famous Garganta del Diablo (Devils Throat) section of the Falls. We reach the upper sections by train and by foot through the jungle which is teeming with coatis, monkeys, toucans and other birdlife (including a chestnut eared Aracari), and a Red Brocket deer. Our first stop Tres Fronteras or 3 Borders on the Paraná and Iguazu Rivers. We have a fantastic riverside lunch and take a boat ride along the rivers. Known as the busiest of the 3 cities we explore its main shopping district before heading back to Brazil.
