Kitum Cave deep in rural Kenya hides a deadly secret. When a Frenchman visited this cave in the 1980s and formed serious symptoms which led to his demise later in a hospital, no one knew yet what had happened. Only later it was found out that he had contracted Marburg virus (similar virus to Ebola) most likely through the Egyptian fruit bats living in the cave. It's believed that Marburg has originated from this infamous cave. The cave is also known for a unique phenomenon that each night multiple elephants are entering the cave in search of salt. Using their tusks they're carving the salty walls of the cave.
