Ramadan Kareem 🌙 This special visit to Aligarh was filled with warmth, gratitude, and nostalgia as I had the privilege of meeting Prof. Shamshad Ali at his residence in Sir Syed Colony, neighboring Aligarh Muslim University. The memorable moments were beautifully captured by Dr. Jitendrajit Singh Laishram. During the visit, I had the honor of presenting Prof. Ali with my recently published book, “Constitutionalism & Governance Through Institutions, Rights, & Federalism in India 1950–2025 & Beyond.” The meeting became a heartfelt journey down memory lane as we fondly relived our shared experiences and cherished memories from our time (2016–2020) as colleagues and neighbors in Eritrea, Africa. Adding a delightful touch of nostalgia, Prof. Ali also shared the recipe and preparation of the Veg Biryani he used to graciously serve me during our Eritrea days a beautiful reminder of friendship, hospitality, and enduring bonds.
