This high-resolution global lunar mosaic, “Moon LRO LROC WAC Global Morphology Mosaic 100m v3,” was produced in 2013 by the Arizona State University LROC Team using imagery from NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter. Captured by the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Camera Wide Angle Camera, the mosaic combines more than 15,000 individual images collected between 2009 and 2011. With a global resolution of 100 meters per pixel, it provides one of the most complete morphological views of the Moon ever assembled.
