[KiniNews] Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has denied claims that the MACC’s investigation into his predecessor Ismail Sabri Yaakob is politically motivated. Responding to a journalist's question on the matter, Anwar referenced the discovery of hundreds of millions of ringgit in a house. “So if you find a few hundred million (ringgit) in your house, don’t touch (the case). Are you telling me that?" he asked. The Pakatan Harapan chairperson also reminded everyone not to pass judgment before the investigation is complete. Meanwhile, in a separate story, Umno secretary-general Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki has decried certain quarters’ attempts to link Umno to the corruption probe.
