In February 2022 I travelled to the Drakensberg Mountains in South Africa in search of dramatic landscape photographs and above all else, the ULTIMATE MOUNTAIN ADVENTURE! The hike lasted 6 days and we explored the Cathedral Peak area. We ascended the escarpment via ORGAN PIPES PASS and descended down TSEKETSEKE PASS. It was an incredible adventure! Over the 5 nights we experienced some incredible weather and photographed some dramatic landscapes. Storms, inversions and incredible skies gave us some amazing opportunities for amazing landscape photography. Along the way I had my trusty Hilleberg Soul BL tent keeping me safe at night.
