Ariel's Greatest Tantrum

My daughter Ariel when she was 3 or 4 years old really didn't want Mommy to leave her at home with Daddy for the first time. (Daddy normally lived in Orlando and Ariel in Chicago) This was a breakthrough moment when my codependent (on her mom) child found out that being with Daddy isn't necessarily the end of life as she knows it. The tantrum she threw was classic and caught on film. This is also my favorite suggestion as to how to handle a child's temper tantrum. Video it, and play it back for them. Really enjoy the tantrum. It takes all the fun out of it for the child. This turned out to be a bonding moment for Ariel and Daddy and we have had the greatest relationship ever since.
