After completing all 80 stages in normal mode, you'll unlock the code to access X*Bert Mode, which consists of 20 of the hardest levels in the game. Unlike in normal mode, where you only need to complete 4 stages in a row to earn a “Game Over Checkpoint,” in X*Bert Mode, you must finish all stages in one continuous run. If you get a game over, you will be sent back to level X-1. Aside from level 7, I played most of the stages fairly well. The only levels I found particularly challenging were X-6, X-9, and X-16. I had to use the level select feature and practice those levels for some time (And watch some gameplays too), while I was able to rely on my intuition/previous knowledge for the remaining levels. (By the way, I was logged into Retro Achievements, that's why those achievements were showing on the screen)
