#Greece #Nomadikfootprints #AlexandrePajaud #roadtrip #Delphi #Thessaloniki ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi everyone, Here is a video of our road (with Thibault) taking us on the Greek roads from 'Delphi to Thessaloniki (2nd biggest city of Greece)Delphi is a little town, in the hills, a few hours drive from Athens. We stopped here to check out the temple of Apollo with a beautiful view on the valley. From there we continue our road to the north to stop at Kalabaka, or Meteroa, where the monasteries are hanging on the top cliffs of the mountains. Couple of days later, we drove to the very north, close to the Albanian border, to the Pindus Nationa Park. The majestic Vikos Gorges that use to be at some time the deepest in the world. Calm and nature. We stayed in a small lodge in the middle of nowhere. After this quiet stayed, we headed to the messy/busy/loud city of Thessaloniki on the eastern part of Greece in the Macedonian region. What to say about this place. Just a city I guess... But a great Gyro and a special price of Mythos draught beer because ... yes. Long story. This first part of our Greece road trip covered about 800 kms, highways, small road, mountains roads, birds crashing into the front bumper, rains, fog, snow? lol not yet and a lot of Souvlaki (ask me anything about this dish, I am an expert. See you next week for the second part that will take us from Thessaloniki to Athens!
